This client’s front room / home office has become a multi-faceted, happy place for our client. We added simple floating shelves, LED lighting for a gentle glow, chucked her old desk and made her dining table function as her main working area. After a good de-clutter, she also has plenty of room to roll out the yoga mat. Following an “Understated Scandi” concept, we went for Farrow & Ball wallpaper in Feather Grass for a feature wall and coordinating James White paint for the rest of the room. The painted chimney breast in white has lightened and brightened the room. We added simple track lighting and a fluffy creme rug from Laredoute.com. The taupe engineered wood flooring matches the wood effect of the table top near perfectly. Finally, placing the desk to have a clear view of the client’s precious house plants and her quite street in Chiswick (instead of the wall!) has been transformative.
